PLANTS AND BULBS HELPED RAISE FUNDS FOR THE CACR
Last September Phoenix Perennials and Specialty Plants on number 6 Road in Richmond hosted a special Charity Shopping Weekend!..
Here is how it worked:
People brought their list or ideas, enjoyed all the incredible plants and bulbs, made their purchases and when paying mentioned that they were there to support the Community Arts Council of Richmond (CACR). Then the great people at Phoenix Perennials kept track of it and donated 25% of your purchases back to the CACR.
It was a win win event, everyone got great plants and bulbs for their garden or balcony, good advice if needed and also supported the arts and the work that we do.
What could be better?
The CACR is very grateful to Phoenix Perennials and Specialty plants for giving back to the community and for giving the public this very unique way to help support us and the arts. Phoenix Perennials is a fabulous nursery, growing 80% of the plants themselves and featuring a large selection of new and unique botanicals, be sure and stop by and see what they have to offer. Their regular hours begin the end of April 2012.
